About the AHA Investment Funds

The AHA Investment Funds are a series of the CNI Charter Funds (the "Trust"), and are sponsored by the American Hospital Association (AHA).  The Funds started in 1988 as a means to provide hospitals with tobacco-free investment opportunities and were opened to the general public in 2004.  There are now five different investment options that are offered as part of the AHA Investment Funds and range from conservative fixed income to all equity funds.  All of the AHA Investment Funds are tobacco-free.

Now all investors can participate in the AHA Investment Funds, which previously were only available to hospitals and other AHA - related institutions. Large institutions can purchase the Institutional Class (Class I) shares of the fund.  In 2004, a no-load Individual Class (Class N) of the funds was created for individuals and smaller institutions. Both classes are managed the same, but have slightly different cost structures.  More information about the two share classes can be found in the AHA Investment Funds prospectuses.

All of the AHA Investment Funds are managed by CCM Advisors, LLC (“CCMA”), a registered investment advisor and the AHA-sponsored investment advisor for the AHA Investment Program.

The AHA Investment Funds are a series of the CNI Charter Funds, a group of mutual funds sponsored by City National Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of City National Corp.  CCMA has contracted with the Trust to provide management and other services to the Funds.1 More information about the AHA Investment Funds is contained in the Funds’ prospectuses, Annual Report, Semi-Annual Report, and Statement of Additional Information.

The AHA Investment Funds are distributed by SEI Investments Distribution Co. (“SIDCO”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEI Investment Compnay and a registered broker-dealer.  SIDCO is not affiliated with AHA, AHA Solutions, Inc, CCMA or the Trust.
